Crowded front teeth, straightened in 11 months
This patient came to us self-conscious about crowding across her upper front teeth. She wanted a straighter smile without anyone noticing the treatment, and without giving up coffee.
The challenge
Moderate crowding across the upper front teeth, with one lateral incisor rotated and sitting behind the arch. The patient works in a client-facing role and ruled out fixed braces from the start.
The treatment
After a free Invisalign consultation with Dr Parm Gill, we took a digital scan with our 3Shape TRIOS scanner and previewed the projected result on screen at the same visit. Treatment used 24 sets of custom-moulded clear aligners, each worn for one to two weeks. The DentalMonitoring app handled remote check-ins between appointments, so in-person visits were kept to a minimum.
The result
A fully aligned upper arch in 11 months, finished with a simple retention system to hold the result long-term. Because the aligners are removable, the patient ate, drank and brushed exactly as normal throughout.
Nobody at work noticed a thing, until they started asking why my smile looked different. I only wish I’d done it years earlier.
